Field Director in a political campaign is responsible for managing field activities like voter engagement, grassroots organizing, and community outreach. They design and implement field plans alongside with other staff and or candidate or political party of the candidate if need be. They align strategies with campaign goals, and foster inclusivity and diversity. Key duties include hiring and training staff, planning voter registration drives, and organizing events such as town halls.

 

Key Requirements:

Skills: Strong communication, organization, data analysis, and community outreach experience.

Knowledge: Political processes, grassroots organizing, and adaptability to fast-paced work environments.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or higher (OND, HND, Bachelors, or Masters), with a proven track record in field organizing or community outreach.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity across gender, ethnicity/tribe, economic, and parental status.
  • Candidates must reside in the state/region where they apply and speak at least one local language.
  • Willing to work and tolerate different personalities be it candidates, and or political party members.
